If I become a teacher, I think I would use data collection tools, such as Qualtrics, as a way to receive feedback from my students. I would probably use surveys as a kind of check point at the end of each quarter. This will give me insight on what my students are thinking and feeling. By choosing questions that I can tailor to assess different aspects of their experience, I’ll be able to gather meaningful feedback on what’s working and where I might improve. Questions could cover topics like understanding of course material, classroom dynamics, and overall engagement. By gathering their feedback, I would be able to adjust my approaches appropiately.

9/5/2024      I am taking this class as part of my education minor requirements. This is my first semester taking any education classes, and I am excited to learn more about the field. From this class specifically, I hope to learn about different technological tools that I can implement in the classroom. I want to learn how to use them to my advantage and create collaborative projects for my students.       Prior to this class, I already had a pretty good background with technology. I think I acquired lots of new skills, such as user interface design, when putting together the website design. That was my first time making a website and I focused a lot on the CRAP principles. I used them as kind of an outline for how I wanted my website to look, ensuring that my design would be visually appealing and easy to navigate. It helped me determine the layout and make it accessible to everyone visiting it. I liked how you could get creative with it and make it your own. I see myself using these skills as a future educator because I can create a website to facilitate communication between parent and teachers.  QR codes can be a resourceful tool when implemented correctly.   1.  Copyright is a form of protection for an individuals work, it gives them exclusive rights to distribute it and ensures that they will receive proper credit when others use it. As a teacher, I would make sure to teach my students about copyright laws and fair use. When creating my own materials I would make sure to use public resources and properly attribute any content I get from a third-party. For students, I would encourage them to use original ideas and teach them how to properly cite other's work.
