    I am taking this class as part of my education minor requirements. This is my first semester taking any education classes, and I am excited to learn more about the field. From this class specifically, I hope to learn about different technological tools that I can implement in the classroom. I want to learn how to use them to my advantage and create collaborative projects for my students. 

    Prior to this class, I already had a pretty good background with technology. Technology has been used in the classroom since I was in elementary school. Computer labs, chrome-books, smart boards; I always had some sort of technology to rely on in school. I think technology can make it easier to complete certain work and access important information. When used correctly, it is a great learning tool. 

    As a psychology major, I like to learn about the study of the human brain behavior. There are many tools offered at FSU that support my learning needs and goals. Professors provide office hours, where I can go in and ask about any concepts that I am having trouble grasping. There is ACE tutoring, where I can receive one on one help with courses I may be struggling with. There are also many online resources that help. Technology allows for flexibility. If I cant make it into office hours, I can set up a zoom meeting with my professor. I also have access to countless research papers and studies, which can help me expand and strengthen my knowledge of the subject.

    Hi Angela! I am also taking this course as a part of my education minor requirements. This is my first semester taking education courses as well, but I agree that this course will likely be helpful to learn about technological tools that could be implemented in the classroom. Like you mentioned, technology is already very helpful for college students like ourselves because it allows for more flexibility. For me, Canvas is a very helpful tool because it allows me to take some of my courses online asynchronously. With the responsibilities that come with being a full time student and holding a part-time job, this option has been very beneficial for me to maximize my time.

I think I acquired lots of new skills, such as user interface design, when putting together the website design. That was my first time making a website and I focused a lot on the CRAP principles. I used them as kind of an outline for how I wanted my website to look, ensuring that my design would be visually appealing and easy to navigate.   1.  Copyright is a form of protection for an individuals work, it gives them exclusive rights to distribute it and ensures that they will receive proper credit when others use it. As a teacher, I would make sure to teach my students about copyright laws and fair use. When creating my own materials I would make sure to use public resources and properly attribute any content I get from a third-party. For students, I would encourage them to use original ideas and teach them how to properly cite other's work.
