I think I acquired lots of new skills, such as user interface design, when putting together the website design. That was my first time making a website and I focused a lot on the CRAP principles. I used them as kind of an outline for how I wanted my website to look, ensuring that my design would be visually appealing and easy to navigate. It helped me determine the layout and make it accessible to everyone visiting it. I liked how you could get creative with it and make it your own. I see myself using these skills as a future educator because I can create a website to facilitate communication between parent and teachers.
QR codes can be a resourceful tool when implemented correctly. There are several ways to get creative with it. Some ideas that come to mind when thinking of different uses for QR codes in the classroom are for surveys/forms. You can create QR codes for parents to scan that lead them to any classroom forms they may have to fill out, such as permission slips. They could also be used to help fundraise. You can share the QR code with people who may be interested in donating.
Case: A school district has implemented an AI-powered learning analytics platform to track student performance and engagement in real-time. The system collects data from various sources, including classroom participation, assignment submissions, and online activity, to generate insights aimed at improving individual student outcomes and tailoring educational interventions. While the technology promises to enhance personalized learning and provide support to struggling students, it raises several ethical concerns.
To address the ethical concerns that come with the classroom use of AI, I would focus on developing clear policies that prioritize and protect student privacy. It is important to establish clear data privacy policies so that you know what data is being collected and stored, and for what. I think it is also important to prioritize transparency and informed consent. This means keeping parents in the loop and up to date with any new updates or changes in what's going on.
Hi Angela! I really liked the design of your website because it follows the CRAP design principles, making it look very cohesive and organized. I liked the way you displayed imagery throughout the site to go alongside the text because it makes the information presented more clear and easier to understand.
